fall sessions

Just wanted to update my availability with this announcement. October weekends are completely filled. I will be notifying you via my blog if any cancellations occur so keep checking frequently. My only availability for October is: Oct 9 (Tues mornings).

For November, I have the following Saturdays available. Nov 10 and Nov 17. Tuesday morning openings are: Nov 6, Nov 13 and Nov 20.

December is still mostly open... so if you are wanting anything NOT needed in time for Christmas then get on the books now!

Speaking of Christmas, I am currently designing and printing Christmas cards so start thinking about that before it gets too late. You'll need to allow at least a week for your order to arrive. If you are a client who has purchased a CD and are wanting to use one of my templates, please let me know and I'll design your card free of charge.

that's all i kept asking myself when i saw this!!!

this is what happens when your 2 year old pretends he's taking a nap! He kept saying "messy!". Luckily it was washable crayola!!

It's always fun to go to repeat customers b/c they know me and what to expect from the session...just lots of fun and attention. These 2 kiddos were so easy... ages 5 and 8 so I can so relate. Just how most sessions go, the momma gets house work done while I take the kids outside and go play. Here are just a few.



and why can't I ever get my daughter to allow my son to kiss her like this. I adored that big sister was so kind to her brother.

oh baby!

Only 4 more weeks and this household will be all about the baby... poor doggies. They whined the whole time momma got her pics taken b/c they weren't the center of attention. They did great for their shot though.

out with the old!

New couches coming our way. Just can't wait to have some clean couches in my home. We have been using some hand-me-down couches for the past 5 or 6 yrs and FINALLY we ordered new...leather! I've always wanted to have a family pic taken on a couch in front of our home but this really forced me to do it! This idea was inspired originally by my favorite photographer ever, Tara Whitney. We decided to make it our own style! Aaron will kill me when he sees this post!

openings!

It's time for my boys to start preschool/pre-K... who hoo! I have Tuesdays (mornings preferably) available from now until spring 2008. This will be great for those of you wanting newborn sessions as well as those with young children not in school yet. I am booked on the weekends through October so if you are still wanting me to shoot your fall photos (or for Christmas photos) this would be a great time for you!

Oh, I of course have to post at least one picture. Here's my little sis with her new baby boy and my Christian (who is never a stranger to the camera when my attention is on someone else). No, we didn't plan for the clothes to all match either :-)

excited siblings

It's so funny to see how children can change their mind about photos. Not that they didn't want their individual pics taken, but as soon as I started snapping shots of their newborn baby sister they wouldn't leave the room nor the view of my camera. So, here are those excited older siblings adoring their new love.

i almost always love the simplicity and statement of a black and white photo... but how can one not love this RED HAIR! she's just stunning and even has a vibrant personality to go with it.

this little guy is too funny. He doesn't like to go barefoot or get messy. No, he prefers to read, play puzzles, create and play trains. Such a little dreamer. Let's say he was more than thrilled to do this for the photo.
