a perfect day

We had to reschedule this session due to bad weather on Saturday...and I'm so glad we did. The kids were happy and the weather cooperated. Love the outcome!

i have a thing for feet so I almost always find myself attempting a footsie shot...but this one makes me laugh!!! the curled toes, the legs in the air... just makes the shot a bit cuter!

what's the deal lately...

with the newborns that won't sleep when I'm around? Ok, so 2 for 3 in the last month have been totally wide awake until I leave. Well, this little guy did actually take a few good short snoozes so we could get this!

So, mom and dad... it was worth the wait... can't wait til you see all the cute stuff we got!

my baby turned 2!!!

We celebrated the big day with a Wiggles party... his favorite thing ever besides me of course :-) Christian couldn't stand to see him get all the attention. He gave him a big hug and kiss while we were singing to Connor. christian with his pen in his mouth... thinking about something deep. I am the only one who seems to understand this kid.
what's the next best thing to do on your bday besides eat cake and open presents.... go to the creek and catch crawl dads, minows and get messy!
then of course you need to get cleaned up the au natural way.

now that's the best way to describe this little guy's personality. With the heat and all the places we moved him, he didn't even make a peep the entire session.

these 5 yr olds couldn't be any more opposite in personality!
i think this image shows just that!

since the last time I did this little guy's session. He was just so serious before. So, it started off that way again but this time when I told him to NOT smile, he would break into a laughing roar... like there could be nothing funnier in life!
Here's the proof on that one...

he was so cute with his baby sister. I would ask him to whisper a secret in her ear and he'd say "I'm your big brother"... so proud.

here is the sleepy new one! she will sleep just about anywhere.

some time away...

with just my little girl. Maddie and I visited some friends in Evansville and attended a friend's wedding last weekend. It was nice to get away just together as well as see old friends!
