new little dude

Met a new little dude yesterday. Here are just a few from the session.

he is so loved by big brother.
Big bro had his pictures taken in my home studio way back when I was just starting out. He was not so much a happy camper that day (had just woken up from a nap). I couldn't believe how talkative and sweet he was the 2nd time around. He wanted me to spend the night! Anyway, here is one of just him. He kept saying "Excuse me" whenever the mom and I were talking. You might say he was wanting just a smidget of attention! LOL.

I think he's saying... "enough is enough lady!"

I need to be posting on my blog right now like I need a hole in my head... but man I couldn't NOT share these images of them. I love being home with them each day. They are a hoot! I only have a couple of Christian to share as he is almost 5 and doesn't want me to take his photos hardly ever... except when his toys are in the pictures. I took this first picture to put on his birthday invitation. He is having dinosaur party of course! He is so proud of this picture but was a little disappointed that some of his favorite dinos were missing. Connor was eating grapes when i took this one. I thought his expression was funny here. He is the most oral baby I've ever had. He puts everything in his mouth even today. So, it's not unusual to see him looking like this... but usually it's not food. I pulled a screw out of his mouth a couple days ago. He's eating quite a variety of non-edible things in his life just to mention a few: a fly, dog puke, aluminum foil

These are the types of looks Christian gives me typically. Don't you just feel sorry for him. He looks so miserable here. Whoo hoo. He's doing the "Cold Spaghetti" part of the Wiggles.

Yes, he knows how to pray already. At least he knows how to take position.

Here's a shot I took yesterday. I ordered this in an 8x10 printed on linen paper mounted to a board to display in my kitchen. I love pears and love the warm tones in this one. My first piece of photo wall art that's not a person... yeah!

sweet little chub

I had so much fun with this little chub-aroo. She is so darling. I was thrilled when the mom suggested we NOT put any clothing on her. I thought "are you for real"... b/c I love naked babies the most! There's only a small window of time in your life where you can be nude and look this good!
None of my images look near as vibrant or sharp on this blog as they do in real life but you get the point, right! Need to start sharpening these images for the web.

back from break

I am back in the swing of things after taking over a week off from sessions. Here were 2 easy going fellas! Had such a good time with both of them.

The dad asked me if I sold any of my photos. I of course don't but I can see why he asked! Just look at his handsome or shall I say "pretty" one year old son.

Big bro blowing kisses on his brother's cheek. This is what being brothers is all about!

spring break baby!

Just returned from Florida. So much to post this time so get a beverage and sit back and enjoy!

here is our first family photo since the fall. Thanks to my friend Stacey for taking this!! Christian was crying because he had salt water in his ouchy so front images just didn't work! connor and daddy walking with their shadows! Lots of harsh sun this day. my kiddos LOVE the beach... creating castles and exploring for hidden treasures.

connor loved the sand and was comfortable plopping right down in it!

he wasn't too sure of the waves though. He finally got in but would run from the waves!

love this one of maddie. I love that her hair is touseled, blown by the wind and just NOT perfect... it never is and it is so her which to me is PERFECT! These are the type of photos I want to capture of my kids.... just the way they are.

we stayed with some friends the first 3 days and their little Avery and Connor were so cute together. Look at the love here!

went to a Disney resort and saw this cute sign on the walk.
Here is Avery. I LOVE this one of her...how her hair is laying across her face and the light illuminates one side of her. so delicate, so innocent.

she sure writes her name well for a 2 1/2 yr old!
oh, can't forget Sea World. The dolphin and whale show was a sure hit! Incredible!
