Jeremy's love

Our neighbor, Jeremy loves Connor. He makes him laugh so hard by doing silly jumps. Connor always wants Jeremy to hold him and for Jeremy that is awesome. Jeremy feels like a super hero when he akwardly holds on to Connor. It's hilarious. Here are a few from the backyard.

The great escape!

It finally dawned on me that I am a stay at home mom! We decided on Sunday evening that we'd leave (me and the kids) on Monday morning and stay a couple nights with my parents. They live in the country and it's so peaceful there. We ended up staying 3 nights b/c the kids had so much fun. They played great together and spent most of their time outside. Here are just a few pics to illustrate our time.

Spontaneous Park Hunting

Today we wanted to celebrated 2 cool things: Madison's 1st day out of school and that Christian learned to ride his bike without training wheels! He is barely 4 yrs old and learned to ride last night in just 10 minutes. This morning he went outside and rode in his pajamas. He thinks he is so cool! So, in celebration we took a spontaneous trip to a couple parks tooday... Cool Creek Park and a no name park in Carmel. I'm sure it had a name but I sure didn't see it. It was sort of hidden but looked brand new. It has some cool rocks and trees that made good backgrounds for photography. Today was mostly cloudy... best days for outdoor shoots!

Memorial Day Fun!

Memorial day weekend was one big party in our neighborhood. Four neighbors (including us) pitched in for a large water slide. We also rented other things for the kids to play in from the party rental store. We had three cookouts that weekend. Here is a picture of some of the neighborhood kids posing after going down the waterslide. I don't think they were having too much fun do you?

Sweet Libby

I had my last day at my job Tuesday, May 30. It was bittersweet to leave. I am so thankful to be home with my children as well as concentrate more on my other passion, children's photography. This little cutie is my ex-coworker's daughter. She looks like an innocent little princiess doesn't she? She is just as angelic in person.

Playing at the Park

We had lunch with our friend Rick and headed over to his neighborhood park. I of course took my camera hoping to get some decent shots in the harsh sun. I love the shots of Madison swinging and jumping. I don't have many pictures of her like this.... these really show her personality.

Christian Turns 4!

Christian turned 4 years old on May 6. It was a small but fun party. He dressed up as Batman and his friends came as other super heros. We danced to High School Musical (my daughter's choice of music) and played freeze dance.
